Process to Become a Certified Nanny

Interview

Payment of Training & Registration Fee (£80)

STEP 3

Online Training (approximately 1 hour of training video)

STEP 4

Practical Training (approximately 2 hours. Practical training includes caring for newborns, changing diapers, feeding, handling emergencies, and calling for an ambulance)

STEP 5

Participation in Stay and Play and Singing sessions hosted by Nakayoshikai https://nakayoshikai.co.uk/activity

STEP 6

Issuance of Nakayoshikai Nanny Certification

Job Referral

Required Documents

Please bring the originals for practical training.

Identification (Passport, BRP card)
First Aid Certificate ※In-person training certificate. Online training is not acceptable.
DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check

About First Aid

Please take the Baby and Child First Aid (First aid for parents) course.
Be sure to attend face-to-face training with practical exercises. * Online training is not available.

Hourly Rate

・Inexperienced (students, etc.): £15 and up
・Experienced: £18 and up

Administrative Fee

Nakayoshikai charges 10% of the nanny's fee as an administrative fee for each job.

Rules for Working as a Certified Nanny

Since you will earn income as an individual, please ensure to pay taxes on your own.

We recommend joining nanny insurance.
