The 3rd Sakura Fair
Event Details
On Saturday 2 May 2026, Nakayoshikai will be hosting the third Sakura Fair! This charity market is a fundraising event to help prevent loneliness and isolation among Japanese families in the UK, and to continue our activities that support parenting and pass on the Japanese language and culture to the next generation.
Thanks to the wonderful support we received at last year’s Sakura Fair, in 2025 we were able to support a total of 414 families — around 1,000 parents and children. For this year’s Sakura Fair, we are aiming to raise £8,000 to cover the running costs of Nakayoshikai’s baby and toddler groups, the parents’ group for families with children who are out of school or have mild developmental differences, and our Japanese reading and writing support group.
Vendors are kindly asked to donate a portion of their sales to Nakayoshikai. Enjoy delicious Japanese food, have fun with traditional games, and support Nakayoshikai 🌸
